Michael and Catherine Are Taking A Relationship Break

Michael and Catherine are taking a break from their relationship after 13 years of marriage

Douglas' battling with cancer and Catherine's struggle with bipolar disorder have taken a toll on the marriage. 

So far, neither Michael nor Catherine have filed for divorce. 


The couple has two children together a 13-year-old and a 10-year-old. 

Michael’s eldest son, Cameron, was also sentenced to a five-year prison term on drug charges in April 2010.

“The stress has taken a toll on their marriage,” a friend tells People.
