440.ng has announced the first batch of mentors for its maiden accelerator program for startup companies.
440.ng invests between $20, 000 and $110, 000 in selected startups, which will be admitted into the 3-month accelerator program in a co-working space where they will have the opportunity to be mentored by: Continue...Mitchell Elegbe–Founding CEO of Interswitch, SimdulShagaya - Founder/CEO of Konga, Jay Alabraba - Co-Founder of Paga, Rafael Afedor - Co-founder of Jumia, AfamEdozie - Venture Capitalist and Founding CMO of MTN Nigeria, TomiHudonu - Country Manager of Cheki Nigeria and DejiAdewunmi - CEO/Co-founder of Jobberman.
440.ng, a joint-venture between L5Lab and 88Mph of South Africa, invests in both pre-revenue early stage startups as well as post-revenue startups looking to scale their businesses through outside investment and strategic support.
Chika Nwobi of L5Lab who is Co-Founder and Director of 440.NG, said, “Besides capital, one of the biggest needs of start-ups is access to experienced mentors, we are bringing together an all-star set of mentors from different backgrounds to help our startups. More will be announced soon. “

Interested startup companies have until July 31, 2014 to apply for investment at 440NG
