Davido, Wizkid & Olamide Signs Multi-Million Naira Endorsement Deal with Guinness Nigeria

Guess who is smiling to the bank today, or should I say are? Davido, Wizkid and Olamide! 2013 is sure a great year for Nigerian artistes with titans like Iyanya, Omawumi and M.I signs endorsement deals left, right and centre.

Waconzy is not new to humanitarian projects as he has in the past, through his silver spoon foundation sponsored and paid tuition fees for so many primary and secondary school pupils, fed over a thousand destitute in one day and he recently launched the Waconzy VS malaria zero tolerance Campaign primarily aimed at fighting the menace of malaria in Nigeria. “We do not pray for accidents but they are inevitable. But we will continue to do everything to ensure that we do not have accidents. But an accident is an act of God".

Five survivors were rescued from this morning’s plane crash and are currently receiving medical attention at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

A propeller aircraft operated by Associated Airline, 5N-BJY, chartered flight, crashed in Lagos shortly after taking off from the domestic wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport due to engine failure. The impact of the crash tore away the tyres and wings of the plane from its body.

2. In truth, Nigeria is still a work in progress and we are challenged everyday to keep building in spite of the various obstacles that we face. Our strength has been in our diversity. If we look back over the years, we can say confidently that there is every reason to celebrate.
